The County of Brant is a mainly rural municipality made up of several communities, including Paris, Brantford and the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. The County is named after the legendary Mohawk Chief, Joseph Brant Thayendanegea, who established the Mohawk Village in what is now Brantford, home of The Royal Chapel of the Mohawks. Visitors to the chapel will find eight stained glass windows telling the unique history of the nearby Six Nations and the chapel itself.
